So it appears the rumors are actually true. According to Pierre LeBrun of ESPN, the New Jersey Devils have inked forward Jaromir Jagr to a one-year contract.
OK 30-sec break from vacation. Jaromir Jagr has agreed to one-year deal with Devils. Likely won't be officially announced until Tuesday…

The terms of the contract have not yet been disclosed. An official announcement is expected Tuesday.
Editor’s Note: This is a strong move for the Devils. It is the minimum contract in terms of length and Jagr can still play at a high level. He will help the power play. He will create a buzz around the team. Worst case scenario? The Devils move him at the trade deadline for draft picks/young assets. Win-win move for GM Lou Lamoriello.
More on this as it develops…
Also…we will be having a podcast later tonight. Stay tuned for details.
